Haven DeAnglis is a recent graduate from the Maryland Institute College of Art with a BFA in Fiber and Textiles. She has concentrations in Experimental Fashion and Sustainability and Social Practice, and her current focus is on upcycled fashion. She enjoys using a wide array of materials that people normally associate as garbage to make her sculptures and clothing. She believes all objects can have a second life, and has a strong passion to divert waste from waste streams and the environment. Haven is also interested in natural dyeing, cooking, and soap and candle making.
Haven is the owner of STITCH AND DESTROY, punk clothing made from recycled materials. She began her business in 2019 and vends at local markets along the East Coast. Visit stitchanddestroy.com to learn more about her business or follow on Instagram @stitchanddestroyclothing
